This site, archetype.nikgoodner.com, is run by Nik Goodner LLC. It exists to run the Creator Archetype Discovery Tool and, if you want it, to sign you up for the weekly email. This page says what we collect, why, and what we do with it, in plain language.
What the quiz collects
Your answers are scored in your browser. We do not store which answers you picked, and we do not attach your result to you unless you choose to give us your name and email on the results page.
What the email signup collects
If you fill in the form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and the archetype you got. That goes to Kit, the service we use to send the weekly email, where you are tagged with your archetype so the emails can be relevant to it. We use it to send you the weekly email and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails immediately. If you want your details deleted entirely, email me@nikgoodner.com and we will remove them from Kit.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, roughly where they are, what device they are on, and whether they finish the quiz. Google sets cookies to do this. The data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you. You can block these cookies in your browser and the site works the same.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. Our fonts are served by Adobe Fonts, which records font loads for licensing.
Who else sees your data
- Kit, for the email list
- Google Analytics, for site statistics
- Vercel, for hosting
- Adobe Fonts, for type
Each of these has its own privacy policy, and each only receives what it needs to do its job.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email me@nikgoodner.com. We will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the weekly email.
